GROSSMANN LIGHTING INFORMATION.
Grossmann Leuchten or Grossmann Lighting as they are better known in the UK are manufacturers of premium quality lighting.
All Grossmann products are 100% made in Germany to the highest standards without any exception or compromise. Using clean lines and sharp minimalism gives Grossmann products a very modern style which suits a wide variety of environments from living rooms to kitchens to offices or hallways. Grossmann lighting only ever use their own team of designers, the result of which is a very definite, consistent and easy recognisable style of lighting design. This distinct design is continued further by their clever use of set colours; Satin nickel, satin brass and polished chrome. These set colour ways are continued largely through out the entire range which makes it easy to mix and match designs from different ranges and match styles together using colour rather than design. For instance the Pro range of spotlights would look perfectly matched to the Arcus range of wall lights, so long as the colour remains the same. Established in 1968, originally selling electrical spare parts and accessories, Grossmann Leuchten have grown and developed. The 1980’s saw the first production of lighting products, moving through to the 1990’s when the company focused on its successful lighting range by building its own specialist lighting manufacture centre in Ense, Germany. Looking forwards Grossmann continues to innovate and push the boundaries of design. Recent developments include the introduction of coloured glass back plates, the ability to recess back boxes to create an ultra flush appearance and also a clever dual switch system that can be installed into most of the larger Grossmann products. This specifically designed switching module fits inside the light and can be used to switch different sections of the product using the existing wiring and single gang switch. For instance, if you had a large ceiling light with spotlights at each end and capsules in the centre, it is now possible to separate the two light sources and switch them independently of one another using your existing switch by flicking it on and off until the desired light combination is achieved. Grossman lighting stands for quality, high standards and charismatic design with a fusion of shape and function, modernity and innovation, designed for the home or project as a timeless and durable investment.
