Echoing the dazzlingly scenes of the 1920s, Roman Empire is crowned with delicate crystal leaves and draped with strands of precious crystals. Roman Empire harmoniously blends with “The Great Gatsby’s” luxurious design intentions. The lavish sets were based on the grand houses of Long Island’s Gold Coast, such as Beacon Towers as well as Oheka Castle, which served as partial inspiration of Gatsby’s estate in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel. Roman Empire by Schonbek can be seen sparkling across the bay in a Georgian redbrick manor, home of Tom and Daisy Buchanan.
