The spectacular new Sun- Light of Love from designer Tord Boontje for Foscarini.

390 rays, each with its own direction, arranged to screen and reflect light from a central nucleus.

Besides its unique ambient light, soft and diffused thanks to the reflections on the rays, Sun–Light of Love projects intense accent lighting onto the surface below.

The lamp comes in two colours, outlining two different characters. The white one brings thoughts of the natural forms of flowers; the gold one embodies the power of the sun.

Strong decorative impact. It imbues its surroundings with plenty of personality and wealth. Unique and original shape. Excellent lighting effect: it casts both direct light onto the surface to be lit and also indirect diffuse light upwards.

Famous for his way of expressing romanticism in contemporary design, Tord Boontje devises projects which immediately strike at the heart. He has an experimental approach which has led him to range from industrial production to unique pieces. Originally from the Netherlands, he trained in and his works are part of collections in some major museums. Sun– Light of Love is his first project designed for Foscarini.
