Tonda is fascinating for its apparently illogical balance: the support is out of alignment, yet it sustains the sphere thanks to a counterweight provided by the coloured and shaped metal tubing. A luminous sculpture that is never precisely equal, not even in the quality of the diffused light emitted by the handmade blown and shaded glass.
